Artist Statement

“We two form a communion.” — b

There is some holy situation, something sacred between us. Between any two entities lies some mystery, something unnamable. The web of relating — of this to that, that to another, another to this or this or this, through time — is reality.

We each shift, shape, sculpt the web with each breath, kiss, brushstroke. Each chiseled moment, each shouted song, whispered betrayal, muted moan: they all contribute to the unknowable shape of the whole, in sometimes fantastic, sometimes tragic, always unknowable ways.
